And an Ice Cold Coors

What's better than an ice cold beer on a hot summer day? Three FREE cold beers at the very brewery at which they were made. Coors, Coors Light, Miller, my

Blue Moon, and several other beers are pretty much served at every bar, pub, restaurant and stadium in town. The Colorado Rockies even play baseball in a stadium that is named after the refreshing brew. Just like

Red Rocks

, the

Golden Brewery

 is one of those places you want to take your visitors. It's also one of those places you just gravitate towards because you can sense the free ice cold beer. It's subconscious, I'm very sure.

By our third visit to the Golden Brewery, we knew our way around and darted right for the tasting room. It's all a really fascinating tour and we even picked up the fact that it's the largest single brewery facility in the world. The ingredients are imported from all over the world to ensure freshness and the brewing process is "carefully nurtured" along the way.

So, what's better than an ice cold beer on a hot summer day? An ice cold beer in your hand while you watch the Colorado Rockies play at Coors Field.  Thanks to our close proximity to all things Coors, summer in Denver, so far, has been perfectly refreshing. We're really trying to take advantage of the amazing weather but had a close call when there was a breeze and knew it was the wrath of Hurricane Irene. Mwahaha.

{I'm actually really praying everyone is okay back east}

{Rockies vs. Astros!}

Happy Monday...Cheers!
