A Hard Day's Night

Hey, Jude! Remember that I mentioned in

post, we got tickets to see the 1964 The Tribute Beatles Anniversary Concert at Red Rocks? Well, Nick and I convinced two of our awesome new friends, Katie (whose got a birthday today!) and Ben, to join us for the musical accolade attributed to the revolutionary English foursome. The night was crystal clear, the temperature was perfect and the atmosphere was just reeking of musical history. I honestly felt like I was back in the '60s watching the real Beatles perform. According to

article, The tribute band performed exactly 47 years to date from when the original musical legends took the stage for "the earliest notable rock 'n' roll performance at the venue."

Unfortunately, the tribute band didn't play a few of my favorites like

Eleanor Rigby, Blackbird, Imagine,

All You Need is Love

butttt we still rocked out to other amazing songs like

In My Life, From Me to You,

 along with the thousands of other Beatles fans around us. It was absolutely incredible hearing the music of the world renowned legends that have touched so many people's lives. That night was the

kick off for our impending Red Rocks concert experiences here in Denver. By the way, the amphitheatre is only EIGHT miles from our place. Ringo! I mean, BINGO! Hahaaa

{And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make}

{If there's anything you want

If there's anything I can do

Just call on me and send it along

With love, from me to you}

                      {Images of broken light which

                      dance before me like a million eyes

                       That call me on and on across the universe}

{You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one}

{Nothing you can know that isn't known.

Nothing you can see that isn't shown.

Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.

It's easy.}

                            {Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.

                          It's getting hard to be someone but it all works out.

                    It doesn't matter much to me.}

{All the lonely people

Where do they all come from?

All the lonely people

Where do they all belong?}

I need to laugh, and when the sun is out

I've got something I can laugh about

I feel good, in a special way

I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Goooood day sunshine!
